- "Thank you Skye, I agree... each poem given, no matter the style, understanding or depth is of invaluable worth, as are all meant gifts and the thoughts behind them. A much enjoyed contest. Mahalo "

- "A walk through the dark halls of our minds and hearts bares the very spirit that fuels us and let's what light may come shine far brighter in contrast. Each and every poem a small portion of one's mind and soul freely given, but with an invaluable worth. Truly something to be treasured. Thank you for sharing, great submission."

- "Thank you D. You have a mind that I will personally compliment as one of dp's greats. This specific write was one not many would touch and I expected that. But you! ..you expounded and defined it to the very core of it's intent and understanding. Your historical recall and comparison leaves me in awe. Such diversified knowledge, not just knowing, but most certainly have experienced...
We have devastated ourselves,... and ourselves have accepted the wars we birth by the same mother...Mankinds mother. Mahalo D. "

- "Although I have not read all of your work this by far is the finest I have laid my eyes on. A glimpse inside your mind...makes me think of all the things I have read touching on such subjects from Nietzsche, to Ralp Waldo Emerson, to Herman Hesse. Our preoccupation with bloodlines and ancestors with DNA and boundaries of our motherland to the genealogy of morals, and what was once a sin becomes a virtue, the transformation that Zatathustra spoke of (from camel to lion to child) to strike down the dragon whos every scale is emblazoned with "thou shalt not", and as Siddartha spoke of man on tip toe to peek either at the past or the future while the now passes by unlived or in Deamon the concept of killing ones self again and again to rise reborn like a Phoenix. It is this piece above others I applaud with great zeal."
