  • "Thank you so much. I'm truly honored to have won this. Most of all I am happy to have had the opportunity to share the simple enjoyments of my home with you all. I aimed to bring the reader with me, into my own experiences and memories and I hope I did exactly that. Writing this flowed really nicely, a lot of beautiful thoughts and appreciations shared from the heart... Thank you. Aloha."

  • "Excellent advice DD. Reminds me a bit of a book I'm reading from the 30's by Koestler, concerning the Stalinist counter-revolution. It's about staying true to principles and killing to protect them, even when wrong or monstrous. No higher authority or big picture mentalities are tolerated; only the original, foundational one espoused, but I digress as is my wont. Cheers! - Dan"

You are spot on in this stunning narrative. Rebs:)."

  • "Thank you Rebs =) with this piece, I realized how much more productive the dark truth can be in poetry vs verbal realities. Conversation becomes unpleasant in person when trying to express the same feelings face to face. BUT in poem, the same expressions are taken as mellow and beautiful. The words fall and reveal more beautifully in poem than it does from my mouth...for me anyways. One other way poetry has saved me...Thank you much Rebs!"
