- "a very refined perspective, eloquently expressed with sensibility and class... those windows... how they move and twist, colors morphing and swirling before our eyes... and yet they stand so still, so cold, and the world fades in the distance... the observant.... that which is merely observed by the watcher, the observer, and the quality of being watchful, patient.... peering closely... there is an existential tone and moment here, an alienation and solemn dull pain.... very well written. thank you and welcome to the valley, I thoroughly enjoyed this "

- "hmmm... such a unique perspective... to an ancient dolorous event... I felt the mother's pain, the guilt.... the self blame... torturous silence... such a far-reaching trauma... horrid."

- "A very well written poem. I have also never read or heard of another poem written about a polar bear. The plight of this individual polar bear was incredibly palpable in your piece. Excellent stuff."

- "I've never read...or even seen a sole poem about a polar bear. The title drew me in and the poem was just....amgnificent, yet very c-c-c-cold. I really felt for the polar bears plight; I even wanted to go 'awwww'....yes, truly. This had a great kind of ecological view as well as an interesting insight into this polar bear's moment in time. Really impressive, solemn but well written effort....applause now!"
