rape

I look at her, she looks at me
Somehow
we understand how each other feels
She is not okay and I am not
either
But we haven't got a choice, we have to just deal with it
So we let life walk past as we remain in a trance
Paralyzed
And she asks me:
-“was it my fault?”
-”no, it
was mine”
But I am unsure who is responsible
Who should
be condemned and judged
She will be okay, maybe she will,
But the scar is too deep to heal completely
So I clutch to
her heart in fear that I will lose it
Lose my mind, lose her,
Lose myself
Staring at me
Staring at her
Staring in
her eyes
At mine

Beautiful. You shed light on the fact that the girl wasn't the only one suffering. Good job.

hmmm... such a unique perspective... to an ancient dolorous event... I felt the mother's pain, the guilt.... the self blame... torturous silence... such a far-reaching trauma... horrid.
