Healing - Tortured Souls Unite

By thesuccubusreturns

Shadows fill the ever lasting hours of my life
Darkness shrouds my past, present and future
Night eats through my immortal soul,
The evil thing that crawls the earth

Your darkened path collided with my own
Your broken hearted misery reaching me
Alone in the dark we had walked, despairing.
Till our tortured souls met and ripped apart the shadowed world.

Now light has once more filled my life,
The evil, darkness and pain abated
We walk the newly lit path together, side by side.
Step by step we walk, unwilling to be vunerable to the soul destroying pain

Trust is formed, a connection made
Day by day our partnership blossoms
I learn how to smile, remember how to laugh
And my broken heart is slowly mended.

Your broken hearted pain remains.
Let me heal it, ease the soul searing burden
Forget the one who hurt you, didn’t love you
Leave the shadowed past behind you,
And let the light of a new love in.

Omg how true this is. The uniting of similar pain. One takes a chance to feel, the other still trapped....The ending so depicts what will be. Really nice right. Scholar
