Only a Game

By ArtemisticSin

Do you want to play a game with me?
I'll tell you about my game
Since you wish it so

First the tools
Hands
Knives
Ropes
Chains
Poison becomes you, my dear

Into flesh the blade so digs
Hands wrap around a tender neck
Ropes and chains to bind your struggling
Drink down that liquid death
How peaceful your battered, bloody body looks
Lying on my bedroom floor
Look at me with your eyes
Bright and glossy
Speak to me your last requests
As my bitter nectar steals your last breath

I shut your staring eyes
They search my darkened soul
And that is my game
Simple and perverse
I don't know anymore
Should I play my game again?
But alas, you cannot speak to me
Tell me if you secretly enjoyed the pain
If the game was most enjoyable
Until the very end
Or was it your greatest pain
Fear, pleasure, pain
All of the above?

Since corpses cannot talk to me
Tell me how it was
I've decided
I'm done with my game
And all alone I die
With you by my side
Just like the tale of true love
I kiss your still-warm lips
For the last of my magic potion
Holding your bloody hands
And you steal my last breath

*Pretty fucked over huh?
