Another fable to weave to your friends?
Well how about the story of a broken heart
and how you tore it from his chest.
Are these cuts and bruises your way
of saying "I love you" ?
Shattered teardrops run down his cheek
Another broken bone, leaving him so weak
A thousand words could never say how he feels
Between the torn aorta and crushed vessels,
a heart still tries to heal
