Dead man loving
By just breath
your tallons etched into his heart
So crimson and yet torn apart, Diminished
You stole the mirth from upon his lips
His smile left with nowere to fall, Deprived
You took the sparkle from his eyes
His joy has nowere left to hide, Defeated
You smoothed the charactor from his face
His look is now just a vacant space, Detached
You Sratched out his soul from deep within
His body is now limp, with nothing left but flesh, Dead
So you changed your man to be like you and now you don't want him

Oh yeah, those that whip and break, are left with a shell. Works both ways...I could see me becoming that had I stayed with some.
