Angels and Devils

By thesuccubusreturns

I lie in a world of unending shadow
Without your touch my bones blacken
And my skin withers to nothingness.
I am a corpse
Killed by lost love

Why did you leave me?
Wasnt i your everything?
Isnt that what you told me?
As i lay holding you
Weeping into the night

Now the shadows are no longer happy
Lying in wait for my sacrifice of blood
They will drain me, stab me over and over
Till the pain slips away
And at last i can sleep

Are the shadows then to be feared
As they ease my pain and suffering
Maybe the shadows I fear are my angels
Protecting me from the pain u caused
Leting the blood purify

But that idea is terriefyining
For if that which i feared are angels
Who end my pain and woe
That which i love must be th devil
The cause of dispare
The cause of my demise
My life
My death
My love

A lot of poignant and emotional responses well from this work, I can relate well to this. A sinister walk in the last few stanza's; post more and keep me reading.
