Juxtaposition

By desolate_paradox

The power so easily acquired,
After years of struggling to touch
You.
Now I stare at my success and taste pleasure,
Which is soured by the bitterness of your struggle.

Then, I was Desolate from my emptiness,
Surrounded by the sweet sounds of your success.
Now, you are struggling from your darkness.
All I dream is for your realization and escape from
desolation.

They see two trials,
Judging both incorrectly,
I have not won,
You cannot lose,
And only when we reach together can we
Thrive.
