Walls

By brokenbandagedbetter

I paint my face to hide the tears,
I shut my soul to forget my fears,
my smile's my mask to hide the pain,
The walls go up, go up to stay,
wont let them down, not for another day,
I know my future’s sadly clear,
so I drown the truth in another beer.
