Death Smiles

By darkversion

Death Smiles upon the land of the free,
the land of a dream,
that we all coulden't see,
the land of a hope,
but this land is a joke.
a joke of a dream
that can never be.

Death Smiles upon my sky,
grayer then ever,
thicker as never.
Pollution by Rockets and other Military devices.
Full of gun powder and nothing but Ashes.

Death laughts at your leader
(he is not mine)
as he fires it off,
full throughtel war...
but not in the enemy city
but in the confert of his own bathroom bowl.

And to this story,
there is no glory,
this land ain't holly
people dai and become lonely...

There are many cladly touched topics in this poem that get the blood rushing. Nicely done.
