Ode to Adultry

By Ghost One

Emnations from a distant shore no more...

No sound rings from the bell of her heart...

She is lost to the wanderings of a world of red lights...

No effort put forth...

She disapears...

Swept away by the storm raging within me...

Shut out and driven away from the warmth of my heart...

The blinding cold and biteing wind tearing at her flesh...

She sways into the arms of ones and zeros.

Drunken with lust and rendered mindless by alcohol she is taken.

Taken from my arms and made into a dusty tavern tramp...

What wonderous lies filled my ears and stole my vision...

Truth unseen staring me in the face.

Love...

Shredding my thought processes...

It threw me to the wolves held at bay by her hand.

She did not care enough to attempt to restrain them.

Unleashed, they destroyed our life.

Ate the flesh from my bones and drank the blood from my heart.

I am cold now.

Forever destroyed by her actions.

Never to be forgiven...

Never to be forgotten...

Never again...

She was the one i loved...

The one i gave myself to...

The one who betrayed me...

The one who left the dagger hilt deep in my chest...

The one never to return to me.

Give her the scarlet letter...

And give her away.

I will no longer bear her torment...

For she no longer exsists in my eyes.

But the black void she left behind in my heart is a constant reminder of what was once there...

Love

I can't help but wonder what comes first...or who put no effort forth initially...I can decipher this two ways. Those tavern tramps...spreading the disease of infidelity:P
