Open your ears. Let me speak.

By SilentDreamer

My words fluttering,
dripping from my mouth.
Dancing into the warm winter air,
seeking your ears... they fall.

Oh.

They fall to the wet ground and melt.
Melt away after reaching your closed ears.

Oh.

Their meaning lost as your own words spill forward.
Indeed they drip and dance,
from your mouth and reach my open ears.

Yes.

They never fall and melt without meaning.
Your words always find my ears,
and I am lost ... but to listen to every word spoken.

Oh.
Please. Listen to me. Please.
