endurance
By girlafraid
He’s really out there
a semi-conscious state of self induced indulgence
whirlwinds of panoramic interest
settle him into explanations and justifications
he’s doing quite well, actually
living solely in his moments
My face might be her,
to him
my words,
her flapping red flags
but I am different
I move along quietly
slowly detaching the threads
regrettably undetected
how much more
before I break into a run?

hopefully you already broke into a sprint by now, love the blunt, subtle imegry, and how you seem to keep your heart on your sleeve in this piece

This piece reminded me so much of a person I tried to love/help who broke my heart. I ended up running. *hugs to you* xxx

i love the feeling of being fractured that this piece has...not quite a break but potentially twice as dangerous. it really is very well crafted.
