Another Fallen Metal God (Tribute to DimeBag Darrel

By freaky

Two years gone though
It seems like only yesterday
We all heard the news
Of that cold and tragic night
None of us wanted to
Believe that our brother
Guitar god and friend
Had been taken from us
In an event that started
Out a night of entertainment
And ended with such a tragedy
He has taken his
Place in the heavens
To watch over his brother
And us all
Partying with so many
Other fallen rock gods
Playing their music
Putting on a
Kick ass metal show
For gods of the heavens
His name will live on
Forever and into eternity

Rest in Piece Dime! We miss and love you!

Drea called me. Then I got a call from a friend asking "Man, tell me they didn't get Vinnie too." Such a surreal moment. And definately one I'll never forget.
