Confusion of Concept

By Moratha

Reality has no meaning for you
Go on then, believe your lies
Self imposed isolation is your cure
The truth is in front of your eyes

Battle of the wills, are you ready
I hold truth and wisdom on my side
My convictions are ever so steady
Of this you can not abide

Bring it on, flaccid eager one
Do you hurt anyone besides yourself
First I will parry, then you lunge
Will you not use my wisdom’s wealth

Your stubbornness keeps you from seeing
The wise advice I give freely
Hatred has invaded your very being
Totally devoid of compassionate feeling

If I can help, please show me the way
Your hatred consumes your happiness
This kills you inside a little each day
The target of truth you seem to miss
