Realized, in a moment.

By Chameleon

Paper in my hand crumbles to dust,
as the north star falls to the earth...
this is it, I think-
my words realized in a momentus flash

when I was a child I never dreamt
how cold the sun would grow.
throwing rocks in the water-
watching the ripples travel across

I wonder if that's what its like
looking down from a big office-
just like a devious child
magnifying ants in the sun.

The trees, their shadowy stick figures
sway from the flames on the horizon-
as it threatens to engulf them,
I feel a tear...

crumble to dust-

with the world
realized-
in a momentus flash.
