The Brink

By Moratha

When I was younger, I thought of ways
To overcome my solitary life.
Then I realized, we are all alone,
Together in time.

Do you think, think, think
Of ways to sink, sink, sink?
On the brink, brink, brink
Of falling into blissful sleep.

Where do we go from here, what a ride.
It’s such a very long fall.
Hold my hand as we jump
Down into time.

Do you think, think, think
Of ways to sink, sink, sink?
On the brink, brink, brink
Of falling into blissful sleep.

Let’s all get out of here. Find somewhere new. Where is your paradise? I left mine with you.
