My Angel In Black

By Ocean of Truth

Youre so evil, youre so mean, tainted, and unclean

Stay away from her shes the devil

How can they say that, they don't know you,

Well i got close, underneath your guard, and you took my breath away

I saw my angel of fire, my greatest desire

underneath it all shines a bright light but you keep it hidden,

you protect it from others not wanting pain,

I constantly wait for you to show me

But I can't seem to get past all safeguards

The pain comes deep from your heart

You keep it deep down clearly apart

Please help me understand my angel

How long have I waited

Now that you are sedated

May I finally understand enough to truly love you

How many times have I asked

All you can do is bask in the pain of my heart

I am open to you in full

Just simply waiting for you to let me see the true angel

The angel behind the fire

I cry to you to let me see! Let me feel!

I finally see the origin of the fire

Nothing but cheap pyrotechnics to keep everyone away

I walk through the fire into the blinding light

And wrap my arms around you promising to keep you safe

Trust me I say, trust my actions, my motives, and my abilities

I'll never let you go my angel of darkness...
