Perspective

By Anoblechicken

What lies before me?

the lies which crept slowly

but killed swiftly,

like a drop of a pin,

like the feeling I got when I let you in.

there is no escape,

for a fateless fate,

wrapped ribbons to broken tapes

play in my head, [sounds i can't hear]

just watching and waiting and seeing

I feel like I'm fading away

I am not cold,

[I feel]

I feel and I know this is real

[but it hurts]

this pain hurts my heart,

it leaves me empty but filled,

confused and rejected,

loved and infected.

___but

I KNOW THE TRUTH

I speak only lies, to cover his tracks and to blind my eyes

and if you don't understand, I hope you will

because I've never been more clear
