open eyes

By Anoblechicken

confusion
shoe horses and seagulls
nostalgia in the form of sight
hand takes hand, fingers are pointed
searching for a destination that can't be found ,
spit hitting blades
as they watch amused
confusion
nothing appears
remember,

questions of illusions
dance songs in our head
as memories push forward
inviting us to remember what
we have

I really enjoyed reading this poem, it was beautifully worded and sent a million tiny dancing thoughts into my head. I especially liked the ending line.. "memories push forward inviting us to remember what we have"
