Dark Poetic skin IV

By Phynix

Words become stale and used
My heart dented and brused
My soul has withered and died
All along what you told me were lies
Just so you can get between my tighs
And now I think back, it's no surprise
You Fucked me in many ways
Brought back my darkness and took away the day
You rescued me when I wasn't looking to be saved
Brought me back the love I threw away
I look in the mirror, do you know what I see
My dark poetic eyes looking back at me
The stranger in the mirror I saw before
With a bright smile is no longer anymore
I have had many roles in my life, for you I played the whore
But thinking of you is nothing but a bore
I move on into the shadows of night
Drenched in blackness out of spite
I've thaught my last taught of you
I've cried my last tear for you
I've wasted my last minute for you
I can be morbid and strange again
I can be wickedly insane
I can once again enjoy my pain
I can be me

...I have had many roles in my life...I like that line, rather put me in mind of a couple of old songs; well done.
