Have you ever...

By vaultgrl

Have you ever noticed...
When something happens, that puts our lives on hold, consumes our thoughts, makes routines break the mold...the way the sun doesn't seem to shine? How the clouds are always visible and only mine...the greens seem old....and the blues are no longer cold...and warm isn't red...all the colors just bring more dread...they blend together like the countless minutes, hours, and days...Days that turn to night, when the battle to sleep is a losing fight...but you keep at it, doing more and more, to avoid the thoughts trying to pour....trying to pour from your mind...the thoughts that keep lingering behind...waiting for the moment, the right time, to ambush and control your mind. So you keep busy and avoid the thoughts, until eventually you find...
It's not worth it...
One more day...One more night...One more hour...One million more fights...

  • A former member wrote: yes.. no more fighting.. I'm dulled by all the confrontationalists out there.. it's too much to handle, and you try your damndest to avoid the same thing, only to find it lashing directly at the people closest to you.. so much effort.
