Lost Together
By Ulfric
The forest wide and empty, only mist
and reaching green-grey branches drawing near,
can see the smudge of red where she has kissed
the tender little spot behind his ear.
He marches for them both with her astride
his back, his lovely angel holding tight.
No burden this, for he would let her ride
forever- for love's blessing makes her light.
Upon his back she clings, her head above
his shoulder with her arms around him curled.
Her eyes are that of wonder and of love,
For he is holding her above the world.
Through wild and broken paths enclosed in gray
The two together lost will find the way.
