Just a little background on this one...
we were instructed to write a poem as short
as possible that meant something to us
and hit home personally, but if someone else
was to read it, they wouldn't know the exact
story of what we were talking about.


when i had to go to trial for rape, i didn't want to go on the witness stand cuz i was really scared. but they told me that if i testified, it was a guaranteed win. ''swear to God''-that's what the cop said. so i did. i testified. and told them every single detail and cried and everything. but there wasn't any physical evidence. pretty much-there was no semen inside of me. so he went home free. That cop swore to God that Brian wouldn't hurt me anymore if I testified and told the truth. So when he did... I just stopped believing God even existed.
