blood and steel

By Rafe

the jingle of scale maile
the chorus of Wolf and Raven
putting the tale in epic verse
as witness to the crimson
spilled not in battle
but in the Dance of Scars
hate-locked in the clash of steel against bone
in tune with the dying heartbeat
