Love is truly dead, RIP

By Phynix

Am I destined to walk alone?
With no soul to give my own
Have I let my one chance pass by
Will I not know true love and die,
an empty shell with no mate.
Is it truly too late?
Age has me in it's grip
My beauty has started to slip
Am I so ugly, none can see
just how much I offer can be
I have a heart to give away,
even though it is damaged in many a way
I have a soul to give that is true
Even though its light has faded to a hue
I can give to you the night sky,
or at least the stars in my eyes
I can give to you the world so free,
or at least mine full of misery
I can give to you forever bliss,
or at least a souls kiss
I can give to you a promise so dear
But my words you no longer hear
How my lonliness causes me so much pain
Wondering how I stay sane
or am I.....
