Brethren

By LordBrosnian

Seldom chance I get to soar abroad the brindled clouds
Evoking sodden winds...poetic tongues
I reach to clasp upon the eager hand which shares my plight
To have it bitten, spat upon, then cast back to my side
eft antiquated Rage pervades the fists once open hands
A lifetime of berievement...Stares appauled to see mine curse
To rip and sew the tendons - Strengthing an infant verse
Then why doth ev'ry serf 'mongst the bile of this earth
Rebuke the desert of my soul if's though 'tis common sand
I scream to thee poetic ears which storm athwart those clouds
Where dreams dost breathe Thy sodden kisses fain
To recompense Thy blasphemies anon By reaching forth
Entwining fingers, fore - weak, listless weeds
So much they may imbibe the saps - fruition - poetry
Eft Stretching up amain those clouds For all bleak eyes to see
Tow'ring as a dendral throne An aery Tree of trees
With bough so strong upon the limbs We'd build our very dreams
To stare upon effulgence of the mighty, dying sun
Immersed within the blankets of aphotic midnight skies
Applauding universes crown magestic crescent moon
Tearing from the beauty of her piquant, swooning lull
From top the branches of our unity
To gaze where laymen's eyes may never see
From top the branches of our poetry
Whence dreams are built and furtive lungs, the gift of breath, recieve

Beautifully rendered, I will breathe your air and exhale the same, teetering on those tall-tall branches, singing my little songs to those who dare to hear...magnificent
