Fly With Me

By Simply Me

Come to me, on angels wings
from a world of hate, deliver me

lift me high, above the rain
above the violence and the pain

whisper truths, into my ear
erase the lies, my mind will clear

restore the strength, to a body frail
my years were hard, no hands were held

rock me now, like a baby needs
kiss the wounds, when my heart bleeds

friend you know, what brings me down
it's time to meet you on the ground

I'm humble now, yes I've done wrong
and we both knew it all along

at my last hour, I beg and plead
please come down, and fly with me
