Halo (autumn baby)

By AnotherWitheredRose

you had this halo of innocence
about your head...
Now your heart is hollow
Now your soul is dead.

A fragile little princess
Naive and decieved
No one ever told her...
You should have taught her...
what dangers may come from strangers.

Autumn Baby
Autumn Baby
And now shes lying in the leaves
Her throat is slit
And her skirt pulled up past her knees.

And now your crying like you cared
You were never even there

No one ever told her...
You should have taught her...
What dangers may come from strangers

Autumn Baby
Autumn Baby
would swing on the swings,
all alone in the park.
That night she hadnt returned,
and it was getting really dark.

You didnt even notice
you were passed out drunk
while your baby girl was getting fucked.

You had this halo of innocence
about your head...
Now your heart is hollow
Now your soul is dead.

Fragile little princess
now fucked and contorted,

your visions of a better life,
A better future, now distorted

Naive and decieved
No one ever told her...
You should have taught her...

Autumn Baby
Autumn Baby

The leaves look lovely in your hair.
