The Mentor

By ONEANDLONELY

This, please remember…
from a man that’s seeing it through.

“There will be no consolation…
when you learn it’s always been you!”

Until that day of reckoning…
the moment you stamp in time...

I will not sidestep the blame.

Today it still is mine.
