Rum
By Saschwann
Pirate juice, liquid courage flowing through our veins
Warmth spreading through my body relieving all my pains
Nothing better to do on a Wednesday night
Than drink ourselves into stupidity to avoid the light
That comes from accepting all of the world's flaws
So we close our eyes to try to ignore the cause
And tell ourselves that it's all in good fun
That everyThing will be good when the drinking's done
But for now let's pitch and go get another bottle
And coast through life without touching the throttle.
