My Angels Will Live On

By peril_notion

Suddenly feeling so lonesome
Even though I'm surrounded by love
The ache still remains within
Harrowing emotions that control me

Reposal consumes my every whim
Yesterdays individuals, now gone
Another life lost in the abyss
Never to be seen, but never forgotten

Devouring all strength I posess
Although I am bound to recover
Now I realize the meaning of loss
Insightful, it tends to be
Crusaders fighting with each other, now
Angels living through my dreams

(Suffering from incredible loss, my mind tends to wander... thoughts of what could have been, or more like what almost was... although it was short lived, we still cared and loved them with everything we had to offer. Maybe someday they'll come back to us... but I do know, they will all live constantly in our dreams. I thank my lucky stars to still have the one person that keeps me sane... the one person my heart belongs to... Ian, I love you.)

awww heather, this was unimaginably doleful, i particularly felt the second stanza. this whole piece reminds me to hold on to what we have before they slip away like everyone else surrounding us. this was as beautiful as you are...~much love, michelle
