delusion of time

By Just a Rose

Every time you’re near
We try to pause time
Make these moments last
Into eternity

Sadly that is a power I do not posses
Impossible

Our hearts play tricks
Gives us illusions…
Time is lost completely

Only to be torn out of this dream
To reality
Biting reality

With you sleep is a waste of life,
For you are my dreams

Without you
Unconsciousness consumes
Searching for visions of you

I hate this feeling
Consuming every crevice of my being
Eating away at my very soul

It’s the feeling
Of every kiss goodbye
Made at the end of our delusion of time
