Darkness embraces me tight
all because of ones lie
darkness swallows the bright golden sun
casting shadows in the night
all because of ones lie
my shining light taken from me
tears streak tender cheeks
Darkness embraces me tight
as the light has turned its back on me
heart aching, soul wretching
detached
angry, hurt, sadness overwhelms
deepest eyes seek out the light
pathway cluttered...
all because of ones lie
left alone to search
heavy heart sighing softly
sitting in the dark
tears staining tender cheeks
grasping, clawing, searching
all because of ones lie
alone to fight against the darkness
alone to once again find my bright shining light
until then....
darkness embrasses me tight
