Ode to a Brick Wall

By finaldestiny

So symmetrically placed.
The cement bricks
climb up the wall.
Entwining each other.
Never to find a bent line
or crushed brick.
Perfection at it’s best.
They encase us within a room,
trapping us within.
Counting each brick at least kills time.
Hell, it’s better than listening to the teacher.
