Ice

By Eladrim

Go ahead, rip it out again, you'll only find ice.
Not so much fun when I refuse to bleed is it?
Not so much fun when I refuse to scream is it?
Who's on top now?
Sure i've become cold.
Sure i've pushed away from everyone I love.
But at least I win!
At least you will never defeat me again.
This is the price that I have chosen to pay.
Cut me up as much as you want.
You won't get a single drop from me.
You thought you had me down but i've come back
To shove my bitter tasting victory down your throat.
I wanna see you choke on it.
I wanna see you cough and vomit and suffer.
You made my life Hell, I wanna return the favor now.
I only wish that I could take direct offensive.
What I would give to watch you bleed for once.
To watch the knife go in
And be chased out by a stream of vile rotten blood...
But instead I must defeat you by stopping your attacks. And I have found a shield.
Ice is my shield, I fill my veins with it
Just to beat you, don't ever doubt how far I will go...

For someone new at this, you'd never know by reading your works. Someone has hurt you to the point where they can't get in anymore, powerful.
