One thing missing

By Sparximus3

The stress, the anger, the hate
It cannot be forgotten
Deep down inside,
A love that went rotten

You cheated on me with
Not one, but two
I still can't comprehend
How I ever loved you

You sit there on your knees,
Begging, crying and pleading
You don't think about me
And how much my heart is bleeding

Maybe again someday
We can be with one another
But only after you prove yourself to me
And tell what you did to your mother

You know as well as I do
That your heart is not as pure as that of a dove
I always felt there was one thing missing,
A thing called love.

For the most part, your rhymes don't sound forced. I particularly liked the cleverness of the second stanza; however, the third and fifth come across as a little over the top. Keep it up, Sparx.

Full of pain and anger, well written. I understand this feeling all too well. How could you really truely love me, yet treat me this way?
