Early Morning Rose
By Zahtsk
See that rose, over
there? With those petals
like the early morn sun that
raises from east, the wet
droplets of dew resting
on it soft silk skin;
Disturbed by the hissing hum
of the little bee that
lands on her petals to
drink her nectar quick,
such power in such a simple thing.
Have you stooped to smell
or stooped to even see those
little wonders over yonder?
