Questions of Me

By DarkReality

Deep breath.Prepare.Ready as I'll ever be.
The moon smirks at my impending broken heart.
Why can't you see my shadow on your face? Am I really here?
Who were you expecting?
When can I tell you the scar you saw
the one where my heart use to be
was mended by you? Can you look at me without being disgusted? Can you see more then a pain darkened orphan?
Why are you crying?
The wound your prodding goes deeper then you think.
All the way through me.
Will you still be here when I need you? Have I taken too much? Am I even worth your time?
How can you smile?
Why are you still here?
You aren't.
