Gone

By tormentedsoul666

I wake up in the morning,
To chaos and pain.
With all these things happening,
It's driving me insane.
I want to go away,
Or at least be numb to it all.
So that when it comes,
I won't be harmed by the fall.
But it's too late for that now,
I fall and I weep.
Why does this cliff,
Seem so very steep?
It wasn't like this,
Before when I came here.
So I sit and cry,
And let fall my tears.
Before, behind me,
Stood an angel of Hope.
But now going through this,
SHe could not cope.
She left, and she cried,
As she walked away.
She has not come back,
Still to this very day.
So now I must stand it,
In a way I can't face.
But as I think about it,
It all falls into place.
I must follow her path,
Of the one who could not cope.
I am gone now,
No faith and no hope.
