Kelly Something

By GraySky

Drunken exhaustion,
If I could know how that feels.
They told me I’m too good
To waste my life on being wasted.
Some piano,
Somewhere,
Some soothing voice coming through the speakers.
Are you listening?
No, still sleeping.
I’d give anything to see it,
Double threat,
Your vulnerability
Your eyes when they finally open.
I don’t think I could handle
Being good much longer.
