Adolescent Death Syndrome

By GraySky

Stay, my precious,
With me in the juvenile...
Can we remain forever?
Too young
To grow old.

Stay, my beautiful,
In my love of innocence,
My childish faith
In the angels that surround me,
Their inability to fall,
Their quiet way
Of keeping my head held high.

Stay, my love,
Save me from
This wretched age of knowledge,
Discoveries and broken dreams.
You need only close your eyes...
Give up your keys and solitude
And sit back down by me.

Monsters ... there is a word in the middle of this that spawn the word in me. I know this poem, yet I have never truly known it. All the more reason to admire.
