Enough is Enough

By MABUS

we are told
To not fight

We are told
To seek peace

We are pushed
and pushed
and pushed

They say turn the
Other cheek

They say forgive

At what point
Do we abandon
Morals

At what point
Is enough enough

When will they
Realize

You can only
Push so far

We are pushed
But in the end
We all break

At what point
Is enough enough

And you push
Back

It all builds up
At least its that way for me

It builds
The anger
The loniliness
The self doubt

Then comes the hate
With hate comes the
Hardness

Finally
The emotions go

At least thats
The way with me

Then they push
And you push back

The surprise on their face
Is ultimate enlightment

As you strike
It feels so good

So you lash out again
And again

Your eyes glaze over
All you see is red

Then you pour
All you hate
All your anger
All your loniliness

Into each punch
Again
And again

The blood from
Their nose

Matches your glaze
And then comes
The extacy

Its like no drug
Its like no other
Enlightment

Again and again
Then its over

And now they know

Enough is enough

and they always seemed so surprised when you push back... I'm surprised more people don't just snap

I completely agree! for every turned cheek I feel I'm choking back a towering demon building inside of me. beating down pushy people is very addictive. anger management is the weakest part of me~elisa
