from the stars you’ll learn to follow

By theBAC

i can’t think of
too many pleasurable situations
that could even come close to
making love to kelly
being alone with her in her basement bedroom
the furnace going
some thing beeping all the time
Brand New, The Used, Armor For Sleep,
The Starting Line
or Something Corporate playing

her bed really wasn’t big enough for both of us
and it would sag in the middle
making a lot of positions hard to do
but damn we were so good

i’d lick every inch she had
and she would moan so loud
her black sheets
with white spots
markings from past nights

one night we finished
or were taking a break at least
and we were both still naked
and we wrapped ourselves
in her comforter
and went over and watched her snake Igor
in his cage
just lying there
totally at peace
soaking up the heat from the light

just her and i alone
not thinking about
the world outside the foot of concrete
that were her walls
not my walls

my wall was her blanket
and my bed her arms
her eyes the warmth
her smile
was the light
and i still strive
for more
