Sianna, The Second

By Lucia

Through a velvet garden of wilting nature
A shadow had taken graven footsteps
As the winds that spoke before him
He moved gracefully…

As silent as the night’s erotic voice
Crimson eyes, tarnished jewels remaining shut
Glowing softly to those who would ever care
To notice there unfettered beauty

Black gust sorrow that matched pale skin
He alone, oblivious to the sorrow in his soul
His head driven far low deepening in thought
A portrait of darkness bleeding with embers
Of anxious autumn air

Fangs, glimmering in the shadow of night
Swathed in precious blood
Lips his tongue had waved across

His cloak, shrouding what he held inside
A face hidden in mystery
Drawn by the luring of darkness
A mirrored image of the skies
To feast again…his only reliance

The vampire alone, tortured soul
His emotion hidden in the depth of pain
The vampire alone, scarred inside
His compassion forgot in his broken heart

Thou blood boiling in thought of the mortal
Their life, a harvest to thee undead
Apathy, bred from the hatred at hand
Angst in sorrow clutching to his very soul

Lured forth by the scent of the moon
Entering unwittingly from a bloodied womb

From lands of death, he has gone
Blood staining his immortal hands
Cracked and singed with torment brewing
A vision so foreign to his scarring lips

The scent of a falling sun clinging to his skin
In remembrance of his race from a faded kin
Sheathed, scars forever engraved within him
Gabriel, a self-portrait he could never erase…

Brooding, a sadistic smile painted his expression
So melodic and somber, the hunt he lived for

Masochist, life had abandoned him eternally
Existence serving him more purpose when he’s dead
For then, justifying everything left unsaid
Breathing an endurance test for he
Clinging to pain alone for a reason to believe

Depths to his emotion, no one dared to explore
His being, conspired in the blanket of night
A heart within his chest… he would know regret
Numb to emotion, wishing to be
But blinded compassion was all he would see

Never would he reach to another
Fearful to indulge whilst holding fear
A sip of the blood, his tasteful mauve
Of this life to become…

Sunrise, beauty he had not seen before
Born into a world as an enemy
No choice but live in the anxiety
Of his solitude

Father, mortal thou art
Murdering his beloved, Aerion
In fear of the son…a vampire

Gloom held his hand, depression his veil
His hearts desire, becoming a slave to passions
Swearing his allegiance unto himself
Valiant charisma hidden behind ebony’s embrace

Uncontrollable, his passion in emotions unknown
For he, does not even know
The depths to his own heart forever untold…

Testator, numb to his own compassion
Lonely, his vulnerability hidden inside
He, a portrait set to life…of evil in spite
A tapestry of death brought forth within the night

Culpability, he holds tight to his content dejection
Misery, a curse of elegant darkness

Slowly, the vampire has broken apart
Still beating in his chest, a blackened heart

His character a mere reflection
Of what he once was
His soul a mere thought in desperation
Of what he will never be…

In lonely waters…
The vampire walked alone…

Valor in anger…
His viciousness unmatched
Insensitive, affection he has felt for
No one…

Desperation held thy compassion
Thou shadow begging of release

Never was there a creature such as he
A tormented being, aching to be free
Within his subtle humor striking randomly
The regretful hope he never wished to be

In search of life with falling belief
His heart felt as if it had dropped
He was not alone in this garden…
Beauty had been conceived here

Feelings Gabriel had not experienced before struck
As lightning, unforgiving and strained
Thou gaze frozen upon this perfect figure
Upon the horizon of suffering set to flame

Amidst the dawn…unveiling the darkness
He found her whilst searching for himself…
Dusk settling upon the moon
That held her attention so darkly

My eyes must deceive me
For beauty such as thee
I would have never believed…
I must have been dreaming

My eyes fail me not
Frozen on her curving body
Passionate, my skin thriving
As I saw myself in her

As silent as the winds she breathed deep
Dreaming of what held her attention so closely
Lust wreathing whilst longing of her blood
Within jade shadows…I breathe in her beauty…
