she stands alone

By innocence

There she wakes
Unaware
Of the joy she tends to bring
Marked with
Only despair
From a life that couldnt give what she needs
She stands alone
Far and away
Unknown
From the world today
She stands alone
And she walks
Heavenly
Eyes so tired and half asleep
With hopes
And empty dreams
In a world that wasnt nearly ready
She stands alone
Far and away
Unknown
From the world today
She stands alone
So she stares
Uncaring
Unknowing of her true beauty
And tears
Youve never seen
Revealed by the scars that you can see
She stands alone
Far and away
Unknown
From the world today
She stands alone
So alone
Abandoned
By everyone that she has known
And stoned
So high above
She cant perceive the world from her own
Shes so far
Far away
Above the stars in outer space
So gone
And lost her state
Astray from the rest who still endure pain
she stands alone

Not sure what type of comment this is....but I loved the shape of this piece. That will hopefully make you lose some sleep....or maybe I'll lose sleep figuring out what I meant....Oh also...maybe the title should of been "The Cheese". Think about it.
