FLY AWAY CHILD

By cgracewrite

Go with the wind,
Your heart is no longer here,
And will not return,
Without a star's sparkling tear.
So fly away child, nearly grown,
While your eyes are so empty,
And your spirit is so alone.
Boned holloewed and cleansed with burning tears,
Iridescent flash of light,
To each spirit infused with hope,
This will bring a transcending flight.
Please let the wind take her
And carry her away
It is what the piercing wind
And ever constant turning time will say.
