Another Day In Hell

By HaUnTed_sOuL

Wandering these lonely hallways,
You all just walk by and stare.
Is it my attitude that turns you away?
Or is it the color of my hair?

Is it all the jewelry and black I wear?
Or is it the cold look that I give?
Maybe its the fact I'd rather die,
than to just invisibly live.

Is it because I don't give a shit,
about you or how you feel?
Or maybe because I get my nightmares
mixed up with what is real.

That's it, I figured it out,
I know why you can't get through.
It's the fact you know SHIT about me,
And I'll never want you to.

and the reason she OFFERS her opinion is to expand one's horizons, and perhaps give them a different veiw and maybe even help their style...if you can't handle that, then maybe DP isn't for you... Scholar

Yeah it was one of those days where everything gets overwhelming and u have to let it out somehow. thats usually when I write most.

  • A former member wrote: You have executed the exquisite feelings of the heart marvellously. I've often wanted to say something like this but I can't . . and through so few verses you have conveyed the feeling that brushes past us all. A great write, Amanda ~ Rose.

Thank you very much Rose. That was one of my really early poems I just wanted to share with those I thought might be wanting to say the same thing. Thanks~Amanda~

It's always great to see new writers. Pissed off high school goth poetry, not so much. I'd really love it if you wrote something a little more original, something to showcase your diverse skills. It's obvious you can write, now show us how well.
